About Debra Williams

Third Vice-Chairman

Debra Williams has been a resident of Kennesaw since 2002. She began serving on the Planning & Zoning Commission in 2010, and was Vice-Chair of the Commission for two out of the three years she served. 

In 2013, she was elected to serve on the Kennesaw City Council for Post 4. During her tenure, she served as the liaison to the Arts & Culture Commission, Parks & Recreation Department, Cemetery Commission, GIS Department, Police Department, 911 Department, the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History, Smith Gilbert Gardens, and the Rec. and Culture Commission.

Debra’s professional career has been spent in public relations. After receiving her BS in Mass Communications from Auburn University, Debra went to work for the Alabama State Council on the Arts as the Public Relations Director. After moving to Georgia, she started her own company, Total PR, LLC.
